ODYSSEY® drycell batteries combine in one box the characteristics of two separate batteries. These non-spillable batteries provide both short-duration high-amperage pulse and low-rate long-duration deep-cycle drains. Typical starting, lighting and ignition (SLI) batteries can do one or the other, but not both.

 

Using drycell technology, ODYSSEY® batteries are capable of providing enormous engine-cranking cranking power -- pulses in excess of 2250A for 5 seconds. They also easily and repeatedly recover from deep discharge -- 400 charge/discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge.

 

ODYSSEY® batteries are military grade and have endured rigorous tests that demonstrate their superior shock and vibration resistance, overall ruggedness and exceptional tolerance of mechanical abuse.

 

Rely on ODYSSEY® batteries´ eight- to 12-year design life and three- to 10-year service life. The batteries can be stored up to two years at 25ºC (77ºF) from a fully charged state.
