(1) Battery manufacturers build their products to an internationally-adopted Battery Council International (BCI) group number. The group number is based on physical case size, terminal placement, and terminal polarity.

  

(2) Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is the number of amps a battery can deliver at 0°Farenheit for 30 seconds, while maintaining at least 7.2 volts, for a 12 volt battery. The higher the CCA, the more starting power for your vehicle.

  

(3) Cranking Amps (CA) is the number of amps a new, fully charged battery can discharge at 32°Farenheit for 30 seconds, while maintaining at least 1.2 volts per cell.

  

(4) Reserve Capacity (RC) is an industry rating that defines the number of minutes a battery can be discharged at 25 amps, at 80°Farenheit, and maintain 10.5 volts for a 12 volt battery.
