Master Battery operates two retail locations in Knoxville, Tennessee - one in North Knoxville at 6667 Clinton Highway, and one in West Knoxville at 10958 Parkside Drive. We also provide Industrial/Motive Power sales and services throughout East Tennessee and Western Virginia, and we are a recycler of batteries and other equipment throughout the East Tennessee region.

First opening as Battery Distributors & Sumter Battery in downtown Knoxville over 50 years ago, Master Battery continues to provide its retail and commercial customers an incredible selection of batteries for a variety of applications and uses, as well as the chargers and accessories that compliment the selection. Our Industrial/Motive Power division is your source for new Exide/GNB batteries and chargers, rebuilt and refurbished batteries, cables, and accessories for all of East Tennessee. We also provide battery and charger services, for any motive power battery brand or charger brand, such as battery cell replacement, battery evaluation and testing, cabling, charger repair, and preventative maintenance programs.

Additionally, Master Battery is proud to be a “green” company! We recycle batteries and equipment and we offer on-site pickup or you can bring your old batteries by any location. We are an authorized lead-recycler to properly approved, EPA Certified smelters.
